About us

Woman. Mother. Fierce advocate for equity, awareness and change.

I’m Kerry, the creative taking you on this visual journey. I’ve had a camera in my hand since high school but only turned it into a career in 2016. And I have been capturing moments and telling stories ever since.

Being behind the camera brings me a huge sense of peace and calm. Especially during adventures under the night sky, chasing the Aurora Australis as it dances across the horizon.

I love how a single image can transport me back to the moment it was taken, filling my memory with the sights, smells and sounds of the moment as if I am reliving it all again.

Before the business began I traveled many places, met many incredible people, and I  experienced and learnt many cool things as I worked in many various roles. In saying that, I had many not so amazing elements to my journey too because a) I’m only human: and b) life happens. All of which combined have shaped me to be who I am today.

Highlights for me were most definitely my time living in Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is when me and my camera became besties and I started to figure out who the hell I was! I returned from travel with a strengthened passion for helping others, with a real interest in Autism. While working across multiple roles with children and adults with various levels of intellectual, physical and behavioural needs, I also spent every spare minute I could keep my eyes open studying from home towards my psychology degree. Mid way though my studies, my eggo got preggo and in 2010, then again in 2012, we added 2 hilarious little gingernuts to our tribe.

Just when I thought I had the parenting gig sorted and the career path planned, life threw us a curveball. In 2014 after a few years of questioning and observing, our oldest small was diagnosed with Autism. The technical name for this is Autsism Spectrum Disorder, or ASD. But I don’t see it as a disorder at all. Different yes, and at times very challenging, but most definitely not a disorder.

My children have both taught me so much about myself over the years, my strength, my resilience, and my patience. Oh my word the patience!! They have made me more passionate about fighting for the injustices in the world and made me look at life with a whole new perspective.

They have also taught me that spray paint is not easily removed from the exterior of your car, and that no matter how clean you think a room is you will ALWAYS find pieces of lego. Always.

So that’s my story…. are you ready for me to capture yours?

What I do

• events • portrait • business • content • products • engagement • graduation • boudoir • sports • weddings • family • newborn • illness/healing/loss • landscape • real estate • stock imagery • birth imagery

Yep…. I take pictures of all the things. People suggested I specialise in one area, I said a big fat no to that. Because variety is what makes this life what it is, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love meeting different people from all walks of life. Need photos of something not listed? Feel free to get in touch for a cuppa and a  chat and we can see whats possible.

I don’t want to just take a photograph. I want to use  imagery to capture your story. To tell the tales of the people, the occasions, the moments, the emotion. I want to tell stories of the faces behind the products and brands, the people that make your story what it is. I want the viewers to feel like they are on the journey with you.

I absolutely LOOOOVE when clients and models let me  sink my creative teeth into a project. I love it even more when they want to combine our powers of creativity together to collaborate on some incredible projects.  Sometimes I say the most random stuff, which can take us to the most random yet diverse places, to do the most random things. But we come back with the biggest smiles, and results that work for everyone’s needs.

“I recently had professional headshots done by Kerry. I had wanted something that was not typical person-in-a-business-suit, rather a picture that could reflect my personality. Needless to say, I have received many, MANY compliments on the picture s since I have added them to my company webpage. I was so happy with the images I asked her to take some of our whole family. We have had a few photographers do family shots over the years and these are by far our favourites. She allowed the kids to have fun and be themselves, while still getting great pictures without all the cheesiness of forced posing. I couldn’t be more happy with  how the pictures turned out. I would highly recommend Kerry to anyone looking for authentic pictures for any kind of occasion”
